As a private school option located in the River Valley serving Two Years - 5th grade, 1st Lutheran School has been providing a Christ-centered education since 1853.
Our retention rate is high which speaks volumes that our families love being here. This is why it is important to apply early since space is limited in many classes. Below are some important dates to help your planning:
November 1, 2024: Fall 2025 Application Opens
January 13, 2025: Priority Re-Enrollment for Current Families
February 1, 2025: Open Enrollment begins for all Prospective Families
*There is a set classroom size for each grade level. If capacity is reached in any grade level, a waitlist will be established.

Making Christian education available in an affordable manner has been a mission priority for First Lutheran Church since the school's founding in 1853. This dedication to and financial support of Christian education is what already allows us to offer some of the River Valley's most affordable tuition rates.

SUMMER CARE
1st Lutheran School offers a safe and fun summer care program for students who have completed Kindergarten - 5th Grade.
​
Our elementary program travels off campus multiple days per week for field trips.
​
Our early childhood program will only take students that wish to enroll in the 2025-2026 school year as well.
