Review Memory Work to be said on Wednesday:
Psalm 106:1 Oh give thanks unto the Lord for He is good, His love endures forever.
Memory Work to be said on Friday:
Joshua 21:45 Not one word of all the good promises that the LORD
had made…had failed.
MJ is the STAR of the Week this week. He will bring the special K
snack on Wednesday. Be sure to have your homework turned in.
This week we are “flying” to Kenya. If anyone has anything so share from this or any African country we would love to see it.
With cooler weather comes the wearing of jackets. Please be sure to have your child’s name in the jacket so when it is left hanging on the hook (or on the floor) I can easily see to whom it belongs. Thanks.
Some children are cutting out words instead of pictures for their letter of the week homework. This is not OK. Some children are telling me that mom found the pictures for them. This is not OK. This is to be a searching and discussion time with your child. Children should KNOW what it is they glued to their paper.
Reading Practice sheet #7 is in your child’s folder. These words are to be sounded out and read again and again until he can read them well. Then you send the sheet back to school and the child reads them to me. These usually come home on a Monday.
