We are excited to announce a new partnership with Sebastian County 4-H to provide afterschool 4-H experiences. 4-H is a national youth development program focused on developing leadership and life skills through a variety of opportunities.  Mr. Fishburn was a 12-year 4-H member in Kansas and can attest to its value in developing life skills. 4-H extends beyond the typical agricultural projects often associated with it to also include projects such as arts and crafts, foods and nutrition, rocketry, photography and more.

The after school program will be focused for K-4th grades, but all ages are welcome. Older students will be able to participate, but they will also be expected to serve as leaders helping younger students. The first set of classes will be focused around rocketry.  The class will be led by the Sebastian County 4-H Agent, Araceli Oswald.

The classes for the rest of this semester will be held from 3:30-4:30 on November 5th and 19th and December 10th.

There is no cost involved to participate. Advance registration is not required, but we would appreciate an idea of interest to ensure we have enough supplies available for all participants.
